Description: Joinery – We will cover dados with a table saw or a router, splined miters on a table saw, and mortise and tenon joints with a table saw tenon and router or hand mortise.
Prerequisites – Guild Safety Class
Materials and supplies that students are expected to bring to class: layout tools (square, marking gauge, marking knife)
Materials that will be provided by the Guild: Wood needed for practice pieces, wood glue
Lunch break: Yes
Other items Students need to bring to class such as tools: If you have them: #49 or 50 rasp; bench chisels (¼”, ½”); mortising chisels if you have them.
