Welcome
Welcome to the St. Louis Woodworkers Guild (SLWG). The Guild is a non-profit organization open to all woodworkers in the St. Louis metropolitan area and beyond. Our membership includes residents from the outlying areas of both Missouri and Illinois. The SLWG welcomes professionals, hobbyists, beginners and those who are simply thinking about getting into the hobby of woodworking. Classes
The Guild offeres several classes for all skill levels. Popular topics include:

Superstar Weekend
Every year the guild hosts a nationally recognized woodworkers to conduct a class over the weekend. Superstars include Tom McGlaughlin and Logan Whitmer
Monthly Meetings
Monthly meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month (except December) at 6:45pm in the lower level of the Moolah Shrine Center located on the Southwest corner of Interstate 270 and MO Rt 364 in Maryland Heights, Mo.
Members gather in person and can view the Live Stream. The monthly meeting hosts guest speakers who present various woodworking topics. The guild also does a raffle for a chance to win valuable prizes for those attending in person.

Community Outreach
The guild offeres members the opportunity to engage with the community through several service projects. Some of our popular programs are the Toy program and Home Sweet Home. You can learm more by going to the Community Service link above.

Field Trips
The guild coordinates trips and activities for members to engage. In 2023, several members of the guild traveled to Kansas City to visit the Kansas City woodworkers guild. We also took a tour of W.D. Quinn Saw co. to witness the how saw blades are shapened.
Annual Picnic
Every year the guild hosts a picnic where members and their families gather for good food, good fun, and usually good weather.
