- Sacrificial boards to do practice joints on the jig
Description:
Students will learn to cut dovetails on both the Leigh Super 24” Dovetail jig and the Leigh Box Joint & Beehive router jig. Students will learn the different parts of the Leigh jigs and how each operates and the basic jig functions. We will discuss how routers with guide bushings work and we’ll have a discussion on which router bits work well with the Leigh jig. During the class students will learn how to cut half-blind, sliding and full dovetails with the Leigh jig.
