Description: Cutting Dovetails – We will learn to layout and hand cut dovetails and half blind dovetails. We will also cut sliding dovetails with a router.
Prerequisites: None
Materials and supplies that students are expected to class: None
Materials that will be provided by the Guild: Poplar, 4” x ~9” x ~⅝” x 8 for each participant
Other items Students need to bring to class such as tools:
Chisels (preferably sharpened), mallet, marking gauge, Marking knife or exacto, sliding T-bevel, Western or Japanese backsaw.
