Description: River board – 10” x 16” x 3/4” final dimensions.  Learn to use poured resins in furniture such as table tops. Students will each be provided an 18″ board along with the resin and colorants required to complete a table top.  All materials are provided and no prior experience or Safety Class is required

Instructor: Don Iverson

Prerequisites: General shop tool usage & Safety Class.

Materials and supplies that students are expected to bring to class: Just a strong
interest in learning epoxy resin coloring and processes.

Materials that will be provided by the Guild: Everything else

Lunch break? Yes – 2 hour break after pouring board for initial cure to be able to transport it home.

Other items Students need to bring to class such as tools: Curiosity. Any questions or information that the student has should be sent to the instructor before class starts: Anything student wants to share or questions they’d like to discuss during class.  Instructor will provide raw live edge lumber that will be processed to final size, material for forms, resin and resin colorants. Each student will participate in preparation of boards for class and choosing the color of epoxy colorant they want to use for their board.
