Description: Learn the basic techniques of using a scroll saw. Blade choice, wood choice, stack cutting, pattern mounting, intarsia, segmentation. Actual cutting will occur as time allows.
Prerequisites: SLWG Safety Class
Materials and supplies that students are expected to bring to class: None
Materials that will be provided by the Guild: Guild will supply some handouts and samples of wood to practice cutting and gluing up patterns.
Other items Students need to bring to class such as tools: Safety glasses.
