Prerequisite: Guild Safety Class
Student supplied materials: Sandpaper in assorted grits. (3 or 4 grits, 100 to 320), Should have a basic shape in mind.
Materials provided by the Guild include: a glued up, rough cut wood block and adhesives.
Class Description: The class will teach the basics of making a one drawer band saw box. Cuts will be made, sanding, gluing, gluing order, and other techniques demonstrated. Because of the large amount of sanding and surface preparation required, boxes will probably not be finished.
