2024 Superstar Weekend
The Superstar weekend will be Saturday, March 09, 2024. Our guest speaker this year will be Logan Wittmer from Des Moines IA. Logan is a master woodworker, sawyer, and the Editor in chief for the publication “Popular Woodworking”. He has a breadth of knowledge.
He will be presenting: “Focus on a shaker side table”, with the angle of blending hand tools with power tools. The focus is on traditional drawbore joints, tapering and splaying the legs, all with hand planning the bevels/tapers. It’s a simple project that is approachable for beginners, but elegant enough to make it attractive to more advanced woodworkers.
The price of $30.00 includes a box lunch and drinks. Doors will open at 8:00 AM; Program begins at 9:00 AM.
The location shown below is at the Moolah Shrine Center, however, this is not confirmed at this time. You will be notified if it turns out to be a different location.
