DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWilliam D. Quinn founded the W.D. Quinn Saw Compa
 ny in a small shed in St. Louis\, Missouri\, in 1903. The business prosper
 ed as the city prepared for the 1904 World’s Fair.  From it beginning w
 hen all the sharpening was done by hand with files the company has stayed 
 in front of the competition by adopting the latest technology.  The intro
 duction of mechanical\, gear-driven machines was followed by the arrival o
 f single-motor machines with grinding wheels. Eventually\, complex electri
 c motors changed the game\, allowing us to sharpen our customers’ saw bl
 ades automatically.\n\nNow in its fifth generation of family ownership and
  operation\, Quinn Saw continues to celebrate its past while looking towar
 d the future.\n\n\n\nQuinn moved last Summer from its facility near I-270 
 and Riverview Blvd to its new location in St Ann at #1 International Plaza
  Ct north of St Charles Rock Road near the St Ann golf course.\n\n\nThe Gu
 ild has toured Quinn Saw previously and has always attracted a lot of memb
 ers and been an interesting tour.\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;\nThe Quinn staff plans to
  have a fun breakfast at the shop for us. Pancakes and Sausage made to ord
 er.  "Tell the Guild members to not eat breakfast and come in and have br
 eakfast on us."  Please register so we can provide the Quinn staff with a
 n estimate of the number of visitors.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\
