 e safety and basic cuts used in carving. The students will have a choice o
 f 2 projects to work on.  Depending on student's skill\, they will have a
 n opportunity to do both.\nPrerequisites:  Safety Class\nMaterials and su
 pplies that students are expected to bring to class:  Each student will b

 ls that will be provided by the Guild:  A thumb guard and all knives requ
 ired will be provided along with the wood for carving a " Wizard ".\nStart
  Time. Sharpening student owned knives will start at 9:00am\, class will s
 tart at 9:30 am\nLunch break:   Yes\, bring a sandwich and drink\nOther i
 tems Students need to bring to class such as tools:  If students have a c
 arving knife and they want to use it\, then bring it at 9:00 AM so that it
  can be sharpened.\nInformation that the student needs to send to the inst
 ructor before class starts:  If they have carved already\, then please se
 nd pictures of what they have done to steve@botkin.ws.
